The point of difference in Thatched House is that the guests are as important as friends and family. However we do not let nostalgia get the better because we are designed in a modern and stylish environment with a traditional twist and a story running through the heart of us.

Thatched House has a gradual bustle that changes during the days life span. In essence 5 different experiences is available to the guests – from the hustle and bustle of brunch/Lunch on the go, all the way through to dinner or a relaxing glass of wine or beer at the end of the day.
The decor is greatly influenced by the furnishings, comfortable seating, warm colours, soft/hard wall finishes such as open brickwork, smooth plastered walls, natural polished wooden floors that leather & wooden benches compliment. The contrasts in use of materials and natural light gives a calm unobtrusive backdrop, whilst colour and artwork will create a vibrant mood and energy that tells that historical story.

Thatched House has a mix of traditional and contemporary design. The look respects the integrity of the building and surroundings and plays to its strengths rather than creating bland compromises. The intention being a very broad appeal that encompasses the whole day and the wide age audience.

The other point of difference with Thatched House is that it's never allowed to become an uninteresting environment. It naturally changes through the course of the day, week or month and especially also with the vogue of the season. For example, it may be as simple as changing one plain wall to reflect the seasonal colours as directed by the fashion gurus or movement of furnishings or furniture. This is addressed every few months so that you get the feeling that The Place and all in it is evolving with the times & seasons and not stagnating like other brands or pubs/bars
