General information

My name is Laura Henry. Welcome to my website. I am a leading, award winning expert in Early Years education, both in the UK and internationally. For three decades I have used my skills to support colleagues who work directly with children, parents and companies; I also work with organisations that provide services and expertise to children and families. I am a highly regarded and popular trainer and author. I am passionate about quality in the Early Years sector, making sure that children receive the best possible care to help them reach their full potential. I am a regular contributor to Nursery World and other trade publications. I have sat on the judging panel for the Nursery World and Nursery Management Awards on numerous occasions. I have shared my expert knowledge with Government departments, as well as national and international organisations.

My skills and expertise have been honed over the many years that I have worked within the education, health and social services sectors. I have performed a wide range of roles such as managing nurseries, Ofsted inspector and teacher and curriculum manager within a large college, as well as served on a number of national and international forums and working parties.

I am also the mother of two grown up sons. This is why I am able to speak from the heart to parents and all those who care for or educate children and young people.
