General information
The Civil Service Pensioners' Alliance (CSPA) is a membership organisation that represents the interests of future and present Civil Service pensioners. Membership is open to those who are within 10 years of receiving their Civil Service pension and those already retired.
We are chiefly concerned with the protection of the value of the Civil Service Pension and were initially formed to secure indexation of this for all Civil Servants.
We are officially recognised by the Cabinet Office as representing retired Civil Servants in negotiations on matters affecting those in receipt of a Civil Service pension.
We assist members who are experiencing problems with their Civil Service Pension and We also lobby and campaign on wider issues affecting our members and older people in general.
We work together with other organisations to secure a better, sustainable retirement for all pensioners.
Members of CSPA also enjoy a number of benefits including competitively priced travel insurance, free legal and financial advice, a computer support helpline, special rates on airport car parking, and a CSPA travel club
