General information
As a music service for children and young people we provide instrumental and vocal tuition in Croydon schools from the beginner SoundStart programme to university and music college entrance. Instrumental teaching is available for all orchestral and band instruments, keyboard, piano, guitar, drum kit and voice.
Learning to play an instrument is just the beginning. We provide music centres with a range of bands, orchestras, choirs and other music groups to join. Performances take place at Fairfield Halls, throughout Croydon and further afield, including regular tours abroad by the senior groups.
Croydon Music and Arts is also an arts service supporting schools and teachers to develop the arts curriculum, to access arts projects delivered by artists and arts organisations and to expand out of school arts activities for children and young people.
