General information

The founders of Baxfood are Mark and Joy. They moved to Whyteleafe Surrey 6 years ago. The girls are 8 and 5. When we moved into the area we instantly fell in love with the greenery, wide open spaces and the inspiring views. After many years of just thinking about running his own food business Mark decided that it was time to follow his dreams and start his own Caribbean food delivery service within the area and neighbouring locations. With a background of 15 years plus in the hospitality business Mark decided that he would concentrate his efforts on what he does best cooking!! He left his job working as a retail manager a popular retail chain in the London to pursue his passion.

Many of us are aware of the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle by exercising and eating healthily. Baxfood believes that you are what you eat! Therefore we strive to prepare our food using ingredients which have a direct route to nature, which is more likely to work in harmony with your bodies. We use natural herbs and spices in our food preparation. The emphasis is on using less salts. We will not use ready- made industrial seasoning in our meals. The founders will ensure that Baxfood customers will experience and appreciate that fast food can be healthy fresh and flavoursome We aim to create an environment where customers will enjoy being informed about the style of cooking we have adapted and appreciate the different flavours in the meals. We will provide written information on our website about the ornate jerk pans fired by charcoal that add smoke to the meat and bring out the flavours of the herbs and spices. We will always give our customers an insight into our cooking methods so that they too can create our recipes in their own kitchens.
