S&S Halal Meat & Grocers have been a family owned and operated business from the beginning. The founder Mr. Mohammad Tariq is ably assisted by his sons Mr. Shoaib Tariq & Mr. Shahbaaz Tariq. S&S Halal Meat & Grocers is built upon a heritage of providing customers with healthy, fresh and quality food, as well as friendly, accountable service.

The Company was launched in early 1994, with Tariq Halal Meat Ltd opening that summer. Between 1994 and 2004 the business was turning over 3 million pounds per year. By the Grace of Almighty Allah S&S Halal Meat & Grocers Has flourished in leaps & bounds.

Having been formed with the sole purpose of Tariq Halal; Meat Ltd. Mr. Tariq seized the opportunity to heavily invest in the successful development of its supermarket brand. The company repositioned their dedicated staff who injected their trademark vigour, years of experience and long-time loyalty into the development of S&S Halal Meat & Grocers.

The company started in 2006 with only 5 staff and a turnover of zero. Today employing up to 25 staff. Having already grown substantially in a short space of time, the company has thrived. S&S Halal Meat & Grocers has acquired its first flagship store and is looking to expand in the future.

Recently we have successfully introduced our own brand of Super Kernel Basmati Rice under the name of S&S Basmati, and very soon will be introducing Shahbaaz Basmati Rice.

Mr. Tariq, is wholly focused on the quality of products and service. The staff have been chosen for their personalities, attentiveness and their ability to go that extra mile for you. We have invested in them and trained them in food handling, first aid and product knowledge so that this awareness may be passed on to our customers.

Today the company is a strong competitor on the local market and continues to go from strength to strength, building on its ethics that always puts the customer first.
