General information
Petts Wood Football Club was started in 1946 by Jack Standen as a senior club. This changed in 1988 when the Youth Section was introduced. We have gone from strength to strength and now have 39 teams including 5 girls teams & 3 senior teams.
Our new clubhouse is built from recycled and gifted items starting with 12 modular office units from Ban Nuttall. These were sited and reconfigured to give changing rooms with showers, toilets, a large communal area, kitchen and a classroom.
Our ambition since building the clubhouse 2 years ago has been to add photovoltaic solar panels to generate electricity so that we can reduce our overheads and use the money saved on additional facilities and development opportunities for our members.
