General information
Our members are a diverse group, with a huge range of professions and interests. Many live within a five mile radius of the synagogue, but we do have members from much further afield who could not imagine being a member anywhere else.
Shabbat Services and times:
Friday Nights - 6:30pm
Saturday Morning - 11am
2nd Friday of the month - family service
3rd Friday of the month - Shabbat Resouled
Shabbat Resouled – The Service: is a Musical Friday Night Service held at Finchley Progressive Synagogue. with a band of 15 musicians, including: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, keyboard, flute, clarinet, percussion and drums, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and the occasional trombone. Shabbat Resouled has already visited Zurich, Adelaide, Birmingham, Woodford Liberal Synagogue, Manchester Limmud and Limmud Winter Conference and the music is used in some communities in the USA.
1st Saturday of the month - Play & Learn and Youth Service (children aged 0-10)
