East Finchley Methodist Church

We invite you to come and find out more about the people who call themselves Methodists.

Location: EFM is 10 minutes walk from East Finchley Underground Station (or take the 263 bus to save your legs!), opposite the junction of East Finchley High Road with Creighton Avenue. The church has its own off-strreet parking and is fully accessable to people with disabilities.

Facilities: The Sanctuary is the heart of the church and is home to most of the Services. It is equipped with an induction loop and the sound system extends into the adjoining Fellowship Room and Middle Room. We have a small supply of large print Hymn Books. Seating around the Sanctuary is movable, allowing occasional services to be held 'n the round' as well as in the more traditional 'aisle and row' arrangement. The central area can be cleared to provide a large open space for informal gatherings.
The Fellowship Room is where hold our refreshments after service, and occasionally we can be found either sharing a fellowship lunch (1st Sunday of the month -ex August) and the annual Cream Tea as well as the Plant and Cake sale to raise money for Christian Aid.
The Middle Room is smaller and is used for occasional meetings.
Upstairs are two rooms; the South Room is used forJunior Church, whilst both rooms aare the home of the East Finchley School of English on weekdays.
