Directive No. 89/686/EEC and carries the CE mark accordingly. Where appropriate, our products are certified to EN ISO 20345.

The fire boots meet EN15090:2012.

Giffard Newton & Sons Ltd. began manufacturing working and occupational footwear in 1854. Five generations later, the company remains one of the UK’s leading suppliers of specialist footwear for the working environment.

The design of new products is carried out by the company's in-house designers, with the development of new products carefully monitored from prototype to final mass production.
