The London Home Cinema Company

General information

The London Home Cinema Company was created as a division of A W Pounds Ltd, a family business established in 1947, to separate the successful home cinema business from its busy white and brown goods retail operation.
After attending George Lucas’ Skywalker Studios training facility back in 1994 to obtain LucasFilm THX certification, MD Martin Redwood invested in purpose-built demonstration rooms to promote properly calibrated systems.

In 2008 the business moved from Enfield to Winchmore Hill, north London, and the separate company was created. London Home Cinema has two distinctive demonstration areas within the new store.

These rooms allow you to experience home cinema at its best, and to get a good idea of how it might work in your home.
