General information

With the ever-increasing development of social media, it seems we are starting to lose the habit of face-to-face interaction with family, friends, associates and colleagues. On the other hand we connect more easily, discuss a wide variety of topics, get instant advice and opinions and tend to know more readily what others are doing more than ever so we thought why not put the two together. Pilates Instructor Network is just that, a network of Pilates professionals who connect through direct meetings as well as online means of communication. Our aim is to offer support, informal learning and business as well as social networking Understandably, it will be harder for some of you to join us personally if you are based outside London but

We offer you a break from your daily routine, for some informal educational moments with your fellow teachers, a chance to mingle and meet new faces, enjoy a class and listen to our monthly speakers and hopefully have some fun.

We will coincide our meetings with weekend workshops to make it more appealing to travel and stay overnight

We hope you can connect with local teachers who may be able offer accommodation

We might surprise you and have our meeting close to where you are!

Who can benefit from being part of PiN?

All Pilates teachers, whether you teach full time or part time, matwork, studio or just privates, plus its ideal for trainee teachers and those returning to the profession. PiN will have something for all of you.

What happens during PiN meetings?

PiN meetings are aimed at professional development, to achieve this we will run structured and to the point meetings, with class, discussions and talks addressing topics that are of interest to group or are the theme of the meeting.

We will all have an opportunity to introduce ourselves to other members, in the “60 second slots” which we hope will help everyone get to know each other, in a quick and exciting fashion.

As part of the routine every month one teacher will have an opportunity to talk to us about their Pilates journey and their business for 10 minutes, while another will give us a 5 minute talk about a subject linked to their practice. These two elements are an integral part of PiN for developing our business network and to the surprise of most can be a very beneficial way of changing the perspective and view of your business.

PiN will start with an open class and finish with a themed class; you can join either or both depending on space.

And at the end we hope you will want to socialise with the group or continue the chat online with all our members in the closed Facebook group

How do I join PiN?

Email us at meeting@pilatesinstructornetwork.co.uk to be put on our database

You will be invited to join our online group and be informed of meetings on a regular basis.

If you decide to join us in person we will get you to complete a simple registration form and become a member of PiN.

What does it cost?

Becoming a member of PiN is free.

Monthly PiN meeting will cost only £20 – inclusive of class attendance
We hope this will cover the space hire, contribute to guest speaker/teacher costs and our admin costs.
