General information

Hammond & Co are a home based firm of Chartered Certified Accountants aimed at individuals and owner managed businesses.

There are a number of advantages to using home based accountants:

1. Cheaper fees - home based accountants don't have the same overheads as high street accountants, so can afford to offer lower fees.
2. Flexibility - high street accountants typically work Monday to Friday and do 9 to 5. Not so with a home based accountant. We never leave the 'office', so are avaialble to see clients at their covenience including weekends and evenings.
3. A more personalised service - the personal you see will be the same person who looks after all your work. That person will know you and your business requirements intimately. With high street firms, you see the partner who then delegates the work to a more junior member of staff.

We offer fixed fees for most work. It is typically about two thirds of what you would pay on the high street and that's before the application of our generous discounts.

We specialise in tax, so have a proactive approach to taxation matters, seeking to keep you tax efficient where possible.

We provide free training for help with the basic bookkeeping and record keeping essentials.
