The Woolpack is a pleasant city centre pub situated within the city's main business district and very close to the city's busy shopping district.
We are very popular with local office and shop workers, as well as shoppers and local residents. We are also a favourite location for office parties and events. We offer a local pub welcome and friendly service as well as a wide range of pub food and drink at great value prices.
Our 2 meals at a set price include classics like hand battered fish and chips, rump steak and chips with all the trimmings and New York style chicken. With Sunday roasts all day every Sunday including a ‘go large’ option and midweek grill and curry nights priced to include a drink, our menu offers all your pub favourites and more.
