Stardust Childrens Clothes

General information

Stardust opened for business 1998. The initial collection comprised just 6 pop icon designs which were hand printed at home using a small heat press onto a range of men's, women's and baby T-Shirts. As the collection grew, we focused on the children's range with an emphasis on producing a fun range of gender neutral designs, styles and cuts.

Our first big break came when Stardust’s Baby Punk items were featured at the Vivienne Westwood Exhibition at the V&A Museum in 2004.

In 2006 we were award a Highly commended in Gift of the Year for our quirky kids pyjamas. In 2010 Stardust was awarded with Lambeth's Best Independent Retailer. Later in the same year we received a highly commended award for South London's best small business.

The Stardust range has successfully grown into a popular brand with the use of vibrant colours, quality fabrics and strong quirky designs to create stand-out pieces. The range appeals as much to Mums and Dads as it does the kids, and allows parents to pass on their sense of urban rebellion to their kids, with fashions that are way too cool for school!

Stardust clothes are manufactured by a small family owned business based in India. We have worked closely with the factory to ensure the factory complies with the ETI's ethical code. Stardust use Azo free dyes to protect the environment. All our garments are hand printed in our London workshop by staff paid at least the London Living wage. We make a conscience effort to avoid the use of plastic and all our orders are all dispatched in paper packaging
