General information
The Lambeth Country Show returns to Brockwell Park on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July 2018, boasting a unique line-up that celebrates the very best of the city and countryside. With over 150,000 people attending in 2017, the show is one of the biggest public events in the UK.
You can expect all the attractions of a traditional country show plus much more. Horticultural shows, sheep dog & owl displays, home grown vegetable and flower competitions, numerous craft & food stalls and a very own on site farm will be there for all to enjoy. All this will be on offer and more with a distinctively urban south London vibe.
Music always plays a big part to the show too featuring a mix of dub, afro-beat, disco, folk, ska and soul. Sunday will welcome back Roots Reggae Day to the Main Stage and our Village Green stage will showcase an eclectic mix of local talent playing acoustic folk, soul and pop, along with steel orchestras and samba bands.
Now in its 43rd year, the show is organised by EventLambeth and funded by Lambeth Council with support using public funding by Arts Council England.

We are the highest certified public event in the UK for our policies and efforts on reducing our impact on the environment.
In 2015, we committed to being as environmentally sustainable as possible and set out policies and an action plan to help us reduce the carbon footprint of the show. We have been assessed against Julie’s Bicycle Creative Industry Green criteria based on emissions data and evidence submitted, comparing the 2015 and 2014 shows, and received 3 stars (the highest possible!) in recognition of our efforts to embed environmental sustainability into our operations and activities.
The Show is a a real opportunity to model sustainable behaviour and engage with the community on how we can reduce the resources that we use and why this is important to Lambeth, to London and the planet.
