General information
South West London Army Cadet Force is one of 4 sectors in the Greater London Area.
We are open to all young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who are in school year 8 or above.
Our 27 detachments cover the areas of Merton, Wandsworth, Croydon, Elmbridge, Epsom and Ewell, Kingston, Richmond and Sutton and they all offer fun, friendship and adventure to young people (cadets) and adults (our instructors) like you.
Our Headquarters is in Battersea, and its home to our staff team who usually meet at least once a week on a Tuesday evening. You can find out more about our detachments and what cadets do on our website.
If you are over the age of 18, why not consider joining as an adult instructor? We are always looking for quality adult volunteers who wish to train as instructors. No military experience is needed, just a desire to work with young people and watch them go further in life.
