Hampstead School Of Art Company Information
General information
The school was founded in the 1950s as a Community Art Education Charity under the patronage of local artists, including Henry Moore, Jeannette Jackson and Bernard Gay. It has since provided a centre of artistic excellence, offering tuition in a wide range of skills by practising artists. It is non-selective in its weekly programmes, which are offered to the whole community, and exhibiting opportunities are built into the school's fabric. We are privileged to be located in a historic and beautiful part of London, close to Hampstead Heath.
As a Community Art Education Charity, we are dedicated to enriching our community and sharing knowledge. HSA has widened its outreach and community partnerships to become an important provider of art teaching and fine art development in the Hampstead area, reaching a wide range of people and helping them find their voice through art.
We contribute to the vibrant cultural history of the area, following in the footsteps of Constable and Freud and the school's outreach work is an integral part of its DNA. Join us!
