Elkarteari buruz

Azken urteotan Londreseko Euskal Elkartea kultur arloan, jaialdi antolakuntzan eta gizalaguntzan erakunde heldu eta sendoa bihurtu da. Gure proiektu ezberdinak gero eta arrakastatsuagoak dira eta gure bazkide kopurua irmoki areagotzen ari da.

Izan ere, hauexek dira gure LAU HELBURU nagusiak:

Euskal Kulturarekin erlazionatuta dauden ekimenak bultzatu eta horrela kulturen arteko elkarrizketa sustatu (euskara klaseak, Euskal Ikasketak, hitzaldiak...)
Aldizka olgetarako ekintzak antolatu (neguko afariak, udako festa, korrika, musika kontzertuak, futbol taldea...)
Informazioa eman Londresko euskaldunen baldintza orokorrak hobe daitezen ( etxebizitza, lana, osakidetza... )
Euskal Etxe iraunkorra zabaldu etorkizunean.
Lau helburu hauetan sakontzeko aukeraz aparte, "About the Society" atalean elkartearen historia, bazkideei bidalitako berri paperak, posta elektroniko zerrenda, elkartearen estatutuak, esteka interesgarriak, kidea izateko formularioa, etabar ezagutzeko aukera izango duzu.

About the Society

Over the last years The Basque Society has developed into a mature and reliable cultural, social and recreational entity. Our different projects are increasingly successful and the amount of members is steadily growing.

These are our main FOUR OBJECTIVES:

To promote initiatives related with Basque culture and thereby foster inter-cultural dialogue (Basque lessons, Basque Studies, lectures ...)
To organise periodical events with a recreational and fraternal aim (winter dinner parties, summer parties, music concerts, football team...)
To provide information leading to improve the conditions of Basque people living in London (accommodation, employment, social security...)
To open a permanent Basque centre in the future.
Apart from having the opportunity of going into those four objectives, you will have the chance of getting to know the history of the Society, newsletters sent to members, electronic mail list, the statutes of the society, become a member, etc, all this within our Web site.
