The Silver Sabres Combat Academy is an LED sabre school, teaching traditional sword arts for the purpose of Competitive, Dramatic, Live Combat!
The amazing LED sabre is beautiful to watch in motion, safe to use for contact work, and balanced perfectly to allow the study of genuine sword arts. Our core discipline is centered around longsword techniques, with other disciplines emerging naturally as a result of training.
These include the use of unarmed techniques within the context of armed engagement. We also place considerable emphasis on the meditative side of correct practice, i.e Qi Gong, mindfulness and stillness.
The internal syllabus is taken directly from traditional Wu Shi Taiji Quan, and the external syllabus is a pure geometry system based on human anatomy, known as the Eight Spheres Geometry of Combat.
Our two Head Instructors, Faisal Ahmed Mian and Nick Musson teach in Central London and Milton Keynes, respectively.
