The Brand
Sophie Hulme founded her eponymous accessories label in 2011. The brand has always been focused on product design. Committed to creating 'things that work', rooted in a form follows function approach. The brand began with a stealth luxury approach - signature styles are devoid of logos and overt branding.

Creative Director
Sophie Hulme graduated from Kingston University in 2007, winning Student of the Year and Best Collection. Sophie approaches the creation of her collections by using engineering and ergonomics to guide her considered process.

Philosophy
Sophie Hulme's philosophy is grounded in seeing value in the everyday. Preserving and consecrating the seemingly mundane. Cultural moments are key. Intelligent design is informed by the usefulness of the past. Every element has a purpose, nothing exists purely for show. Quintessentially British, the brand looks to the past to inform and guide the future direction. The narrative between past, present and future is linear, seamless and constantly evolving. Sophie Hulme carries the past into the future in an exciting, useful way.

The Studio
The Sophie Hulme studio is housed in an old toy factory in Islington, North London. The spacious interior is home to the Sophie Hulme team who run every aspect of the brand, including design, production, wholesale, merchandising, marketing, communications, logistics and customer service.

The Collections
The brand releases four collections per year - Spring/Summer, Pre-Autumn/Winter, Autumn/Winter and Resort. Whilst conforming to the fashion calendar, the aesthetic is grounded in design rather then trend-led. Categories include bags, evening bags, small leather goods accessories and charms.
