General information

Welcome to The Cuckoo N1 in Islington, our aim is to provide for the whole community. We are calling ourselves a "Gastro Hub", meaning we are a venue with the emphasis on high quality yet friendly service and standards. It also provides an atmosphere that is relaxed and welcoming for all. We are a small free house, which listens to our customers, serves real cask ale, and promotes conversation and focuses of offering consistently excellent quality produce.

On a day-to-day basis we will provide a comfortable and quiet working environment with coffee and freshly made lunches available (12-4pm).

Not wanting to stop at just food and drinks we are aiming to provide the local community with the opportunity to engage in a variety of workshops, talks and entertainment. In a bid to bring community feel to these events we welcome any feedback and ideas on what you would like to see at The Cuckoo in the future. So far we have offered such events as music evenings and even a jewellery workshop and in the future we hope to host magicians, artists, flower arranging evenings and much more.

At The Cuckoo we are aiming to provide you with a 'Gastro Hub' that provides fantastic food and drinks through a series of short-term 'pop-up' restaurants. This means we are able to bring you a wide array of fantastic food that can be changed regularly to keep you coming back for more!
