The LSMM is a leading make-up school in the UK offering training by working make-up artists across the specialisms of contemporary fashion & beauty, casualty & special effects, prosthetics, airbrushing, period techniques & character make-up, hair styling & body painting.
The LSMM was founded in 2005 by BAFTA award-winning make-up artist, Jeanne Richmond. Jeanne built the school with the vision of providing students with outstanding technical training alongside practical industry experience to prepare them for a make-up career at the highest level.
Our programme of study combines techniques from film & television with the conceptual artistry and the commercial awareness of fashion & beauty make-up.
Our studio is based in a working studio complex once described by Helmut Newton as “The Abbey road of photography” and is an environment that prepares you for on-going success.
