Respond Company Information
General information
We are a UK based charity supporting people with learning disabilities who have experienced abuse, hate crime and trauma.
We provide psychotherapy to adults and young people (individually and in groups). We also campaign against disability hate crime and forced marriage; provide training; advise the Government and other groups on policy matters; and organise national conferences.
In addition to the clinical team, Respond employs five people with learning disabilities as Advisors and members of the Respond Action Group. They interview and train new staff, talk at conferences and advise on accessibility.
