Reclaiming Social Work
It is our belief that in order to change, families need skilled help. If we provide that help then far more children will be enabled to remain safely with their birth families. Social Workers can provide the necessary help but in order to do so they need time and support.
We believe that by reducing bureaucracy, improving systems and giving social workers more autonomy we will enable practitioners to do the direct work with families that they have always wanted to do, and most importantly create better outcomes for children.
Social workers who join Morning Lane will receive training in systemic social work, supervision techniques and practice leadership, as well as workplace support from a Reclaiming Social Work coach.
