The James Levett story began in 1979 at our shop in Savile Row where you can still find us today nearly forty years later.

James Levett started by producing bespoke tailoring and his reputation for quality and craftsmanship soon became both world renowned and respected. Today our vision is to revive the British tailoring industry by producing the finest quality tailoring and making it accessible to a wider audience, honestly priced and still made entirely in Great Britain.

We want to produce made to order and made to measure suits, as an extension to our way of working. We only use the finest quality British cloths and remain steadfastly dedicated and proud to produce British made tailoring that pays tribute to the traditions of Savile Row.

By mentoring and supporting a new generation of artisan weavers, pattern cutters and tailors, making beautifully crafted suits we believe James Levett can revive an industry that was the envy of the world.

Our mantra is simple "Less but better, disregarding anything that detract from the tailoring alone".
