Find a Solicitor is owned by the Law Society of England and Wales. It is a free service for anyone looking for information about organisations or people providing legal services in England and Wales that are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

Use quick search to find your nearest solicitor by legal issue and location (e.g. town or postcode). Use pro search to find a specific person or organisation by name, by SRA ID or by areas of practice. Additional search filters enable searches by Law Society accreditation scheme name and selection of accessibility options, e.g. disabled access to building, hearing induction loop and legal aid.

At the Law Society FAS we're keen to hear what you have to say and we welcome your comments on our page. Our page will connect you with solicitors and tell you about the Find a Solicitor (FAS) website, but we don't provide legal advice. Please keep to the following rules when posting to our page.

Please be respectful and polite when posting, even if you don't agree with something. Abusive, aggressive, racist, homophobic, sexist and expletive language or bullying will not be tolerated and will be removed. If a post is defamatory, libellous, or solicitous it will also be removed.

Avoid spamming. Duplicated postings of the same message will be removed to keep discussions clutter free and relevant.

Please keep comments relevant to the topic of discussion. Any off topic comments will be removed or redirected to a relevant thread to keep discussions focused.

Posts containing unverified or false claims about Law Society members will be removed.
