Welcome to Meze Mazis, our name refers to the ‘meze’ style of food in which there is a selection of small hot and cold dishes, often served at the beginning of a multi-course meal. Mazis is a word which combines our family name alongside the Greek word for together, Mazi, to form the meaning 'Meze Together.'
Located in Balham, our family-owned restaurant offers guests the food and warmth of the Mediterranean. Our food is a blend of Greek, Turkish and Italian brought to you by Head Chef Ben and his team. In his 17 years of experience, Chef Ben honed his recipes in Central London’s Victoria, known for his refined charcoal-grilled cooking style and homemade Baklava. He has since stayed true to his authentic Mediterranean roots with all his recipes cooked fresh. Combined with 7 years of experience in London’s finest bars in Mayfair, our friendly manager, Enrik, has carefully crafted a selection of fun and elegant cocktails, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
The restaurant seats approximately 50 which can be split into 2 areas, with the downstairs lounge open to private dining.
