Welcome to the Cuckoo's Nest, a framing workshop and gallery with a difference

Run by artists for artists and art-lovers who are looking for that extra edge in framing design. We can provide as much design advice as you might need in order to get the most out of your artwork or photographic prints. The simplest piece of art can be transformed into a stunning centre-piece for your room, by choosing the perfect frame and mount.

We offer a wide range of contemporary and traditional bespoke frame styles, including modern 'floated' styles and hand-painted gesso pieces. Our staff can frame anything from a unique piece of artwork or family photo to sports memorabilia or special memento boxed objects. As long as it will fit through the door of the workshop, we can pretty much frame anything you care to bring in!

As well as a range of quality frames types, we can also supply more specialist materials, such as UV glass, invisible glass and conservation-friendly products. All our frames are offered at a competitive rate, with prices to accommodate any budget from modest to luxurious.

Our workshop is set in a picturesque woodland location (sometimes within earshot of cuckoos!) with convenient doorstep parking in an accessible location between Witney and Woodstock. To help ease the process of choosing frames we offer all our customers a free special tea or coffee of the week. We also have a collection of artwork, pottery and jewellery for you to look at during your visit.
