Thank you for your time, in October 2012 I was blessed with the opportunity to work with a dedicated team taking this amazing community sports club on its latest journey, since then I have been humbled by the care, time & effort humanity provides. A total reverse to whats reported, worldwide on a daily bases.

It seems kids & sport bring the best out of us all!

As Chairman my job was to create a solid financial/operational foundation to encourage/support growth. On the eve of 2016 I can proudly inform you that we have:

Financially:
* Settle old debts
* Reduced monthly fixed costs by three quarters

Property:
* Refurbished an old function bar/room into a NEW indoor FUTSAL facility
* NEW Sports/viewing lounge
* NEW Meeting/Class/Party room
* NEW classroom to host BTEC Sport Management Courses for School leavers
* Refurbished many improvements have been/are being made to the facility
* Vastly improved post match catering

Pitch:
Our pitch is considered one of the best in the county, we are blessed with an award winning team of volunteer groundsmen. Their dedication, the substantial ground care equipment they have collected, plus an annual £5000 Pitch renovation scheme have rewarded us to host:

* Oxford FA Football Tournaments
* Oxford FA Finals & Semi Finals
* Witney & District FA Mini Football Tournaments
* Witney & District FA Finals & Semi Finals
* Arsenal FC Soccer Schools
* Brazilian Soccer Schools
* SOCATOTS

Teams:
We have increased the number of teams that use our facility to:

* 1st Senior Team - Hellenic Div 1 West
* NEW Development Team - Hellenic Div 2 West
* NEW Ladies Team - TVLL
* NEW U18’s Team - Allied Counties Floodlit league
* NEW U16’s Team - Junior Premier League
* NEW U15’s Team - Witney & District Youth League
* NEW U10’s Team - Wiltshire Youth League
* NEW U7’s (boys) Team
* NEW U7’s (girls) Team

Waiting list:

Rt Hon David Cameron:
Rt Hon David Cameron recently wrote to me personally congratulating me & our achievements, we were also awarded a Football Foundations “Grow the Game” grant.

A bright future:
I, our committee, every player, coach, manager, physio, parent, guardian that enjoy Carterton Foot Ball Club fully support David Wilson Homes application.

The opportunity to have more pitches would mean everything to us & not only in Football terms. We have been approached by RAF Brize Norton to host Carterton’s first Rugby team.
