General information

We have been offering a comprehensive framing service on the island since 1976. The name Wisteria comes from the well known wisteria which grows outside of the old Post Office at Newchurch where we first started.
Over the years framing has changed beyond recognition. We are assisted in our service by the addition of state of the art machines. Mounts are no longer cut in the old fashioned hand method but is taken care of by computer and mechanical cutter. This increases productivity and accuracy.
The use of hardwoods like Ash and Oak has increased in the last few years and an electro hydraulic saw is needed to be able to work these types of timbers.
However we have not lost sight of the need for a personal approach to our customers framing needs. We have many years of experience to call on and sometimes we can give different ideas in how to frame your art to its fullest potential.
