General information

Richardsons Yacht Services, originally known as Richardsons Boatbuilders, was established in 1988 as a family run business. We wanted to put our love of all things boats into our work, and that's what we did. Our current location is at the beautiful Island Harbour Marina on the River Medina, Isle of Wight.

Full facilities include a modern purpose-built boatshed, 50 ton travel hoist, 20 ton boat mover, 10 ton mobile crane, forklift & rack system for dry sail power boating (to 7 metre) plus our recently expanded & well stocked Chandlery. Not forgetting, of course, our most important asset, our team of dedicated craftsmen.

The future – Planning permission has now been granted for our new boatsheds, workshops & office together with a new larger chandlery building. This will increase our capacity, range of products & efficiency.
