R.Hunt (Agricultural Engineers) Ltd (Isle of Wight)

General information

After finishing an apprenticeship with Anna Valley Tractors, Roger Hunt decided to set up by himself, with the help of his wife Faith. They worked from their bungalow fixing tractors and combines for a number of farmers.
Within a few years the business was growing and John Deere approached Roger and offered him the agency for this area. This was the start of R.Hunt Ltd.
Before long it was obvious that larger premises would be needed and they decided to move to Chilbolton. The business has now been established for 36 years with additional depots being set up on the Isle of Wight, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
The company has now grown in to one of the largest dealerships in the UK with eldest son Tim as Managing Director. Tim's Daughter, Robyn, joined the firm in January 2008 as Accounts Assistant and Web Administrator.
January 2009 saw the opening of the new building at our Chilbolton Premises, and Gavin Hunt re-joined the comany helping his brother Tim in the sales departmnet.
