The Swan Inn

General information

In the heart of the Test Valley and Dever Springs lies the village of Barton Stacey. This idilic village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and places to take an leisurely stroll before or after popping into the Swan Inn.

This old coaching inn has been recently restored to bring this stunning chocolate box pub to life. we have an outstanding selection of real ales and great wines to accompany fresh, seasonal & local food. so if its a spot of lunch or that special occasion dinner, the Swan will give you an element of true comfort, relaxation and style while the rest of the world rushes by.

The Swan Inn at Barton Stacey has been run since 4th January 2016 by Sean and Susie Ennis.

Sean has worked in the catering trade for over 30 years in a variety of settings including restaurants, hotels, a vineyard in California and latterly as a private chef to four Generals in the British military.

Having worked in the pub/restaurant trade whilst studying, Susie worked together with her husband when they first met. Susie pursued a separate career in healthcare and on retirement, has looked forward to working with her husband again in what she refers to as the most fun job, providing hospitality to all.
