Wenlock Poetry Festival is one of the top poetry festivals in the UK.
Dedicated to bringing the best of contemporary poetry to the idyllic medieval streets of Much Wenlock in the heart of rural Shropshire, the festival was founded by Anna Dreda, owner of the much loved independent bookshop Wenlock Books, in 2010, and has since been described by its founding patron, the poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, as “the perfect place for poetry”.
