Blackhurst Garages is a family owned, local business that has been operating in Whitchurch, Shrophire since 1926. Originally based in Chelford, we moved to Whitchurch in 1939 when founder Fred Blachurst’s son Geoff began working alongside his father.
Throughout the Second World War the business was involved with repairing cars, tractors and agricultural machinery for the home front. When Fred retired in 1958 Geoff took his place.
The present day establishment is headed by David Blackhurst, Fred’s grandson, and can boast a fourth generation of the family, when in 2010 David’s son Bertie joined the team.
Our philosophy is simple; to provide excellent customer service and offer great value for money.
