PERSONAL INJURY
If you have suffered a personal injury or illness, you may find that your life has been completely transformed. Our expert personal injury solicitor can help you not only to claim personal injury compensation but also to access the right rehabilitation, medical care and support you and your family may need.

At Bleasdale & Co. we offer specialist advice on:
Road Traffic accident
Accidents at work
Claims arising out of criminal injuries
Accidents in public areas

We also offer advice on the availability of some claims on a conditional fee basis (“No win – No fee”). We are not part of any National Advertising Scheme for Personal Injury claims. We prefer to offer a local, friendly, face to face service and, in some circumstances, we are able to meet with you and discuss your claims in the comfort of your own home.

WILLS AND PROBATE
People do not like thinking about death and the effects it has on those they leave behind, but it is something that has to be faced eventually. It is natural that you should wish your property and assets to pass on your death to whomever you choose. By making a will you can ensure that your assets go to those you wish to have them.

There are some assets that cannot be given away in your will (e.g. property you hold in joint names usually passes automatically to the other joint owner) but most of your property can be dealt with by a will.

RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTY
Why choose Bleasdale & Co?
Our service is tailored to your needs

At the start of your transaction you will be introduced to, and provided with contact details of, the solicitor and their assistant who will then deal with your transaction from start to finish. We communicate by your preferred choice, ie. post, phone or e-mail and ensure that throughout your transaction that the personal touch is not lost. Although our high investment in technology means it is no longer essential to meet your conveyancing solicitor we always encourage a face to face appointment where we can meet in person.
We listen to your needs

Not everyone’s timescales are the same. Some clients require a transaction to move as quickly as possible and others have a key date in mind which ties in with other commitments, holidays for example. Let us know at the start of your transaction and we will ensure that we negotiate with the other parties involved to try and meet your requirements.
Our estimates of costs

Residential Conveyancing – if you provide us with some basic details about your house sale or purchase, re-mortgage or equity release etc we can provide you with a detailed estimate of costs. We don’t just give you an estimate for our fees, we include the full ‘legal’ cost of the transaction including the cost of local authority searches and stamp duty etc.

Commercial Conveyancing - we try to work out a fixed fee to help clients budget accordingly, however, if we cannot do this, we will always give you guidance as to how much your transaction is likely to cost.

Don’t take our word for it. Read what our clients say on our website

GENERAL LITIGATION
General Litigation involves a range of disputes between parties. We are able to assist you with claims by or against individuals, companies or other organisations and can advise you on your options other than legal proceedings such as mediation or arbitration, as well as your chances of success. You will be fully informed of the financial cost of the matter from the outset, including whether a “no win no fee” agreement is available for your case.

We are able to deal with a vast range of matters including, but not limited to:

Personal Injury – If you have suffered an injury that was not your fault, whether it is at work or on the road or in a shop, you may be entitled to compensation. Contact Emily Smith to discuss the incident and she will be able to advise on whether you have a claim worth pursuing and whether a “no win no fee” agreement is available to you.

Property disputes – From noisy neighbours to boundary disputes, we can help.

Landlord and tenant disputes – We can help in all aspects of landlord and tenant matters, from drafting tenancy agreements to gaining possession of the property from a client in default of the terms of a tenancy agreement.

Harassment – If you are being subjected to harassment from neighbours or customers then we can help.
