HISTORY

Started by John Readshaw in 1979, the company started supplying bath manufacturers using chipboard and timber components. We were getting through over 150 tons of timber a month at our busiest. To keep up with demand we invested in our first CNC Router in 1998. Our capacity rose dramatically and after picking up new business we had a need for a second CNC which we had purpose made for producing our bath components. As the recession started things started to slow down and we had to diversify into other areas which meant more investment was needed to purchase different machinery.

The first of which was a Brandt ambition 1440 edgebander this allowed us to produce cut and edged panels which previously we couldn’t supply. This again opened up much more diversity, we started to produce anything from flat cut and edged panels to built up bespoke carcasses. To further speed things up our next purchase was Cabinet Vision, a software package which is used to draw up bespoke size carcasses and produce programs for all our machines to manufacture them all at a touch of a button.

A couple of years down the line we were still finding that the work load was picking up, we were struggling to cut the boards quick enough. After looking around the market place we decided to purchase a Homag HPP 300 Beam saw along with a Weeke BHX 050 Drilling machine, these were installed in June 2014.

This has made a large difference to our capacity and also now offering all end boring capabilities.

PRESENT

Currently employing 11 people we supply the education, office, residential and retail sectors with quality fabricated panels. We pride ourselves on our service and efficiency and continue to meet our customers expectations.

We will continue to invest in the latest technology along with keeping our staff trained to deal with your requirements.
