Wigan UTC prepares students for working life.

Located in the town centre of Wigan close to the bus and train stations we offer a variety of subjects for GCSEs, A-Levels, BTECs and many more courses to students aged between 14-19, these are structured to give the best knowledge and experience to gain their qualification with the use of our fantastic facilities.

Also we have a number of employer partners that work with Wigan UTC who contribute to the development of the students by offering a variety of equipment, projects, site visits, and their expertise and knowledge to a variety of different job roles that students would like to move into after their time with us.

To date all students that completed their qualifications with Wigan UTC went on to employment, an apprenticeship or further/ higher education including university.
