General information

Established in 1966, Hepworth & Hall Opticians has grown into an independently owned group of four practices based in and around the Wigan area. We are registered as Kodak Vision Centres and specialise in Kodak varifocals & thin and light lenses.

Our practices are conveniently situated in Pemberton (01942 225301), Newtown (01942 323162), Atherton (01942 876200) and Barnes Hazel (01942 225695) in Hindley. We take pride in serving the community by providing a professional and friendly eyecare service for all the family in modern, well equipped practices. For housebound patients, we can also provide a domiciliary service throughout Wigan metro.

Our Optometrists participate in continuing optical education courses to ensure that they keep up to date with developments in all aspects of eyecare. Our patients welfare is of paramount importance at all times. The supply and fitting of contact lenses is undertaken by our Optometrists, all of whom have a particular interest in this area of eyecare.

Our Optometrists are backed up by a team of well trained supporting staff, headed by 2 qualified dispensing opticians. We arrange regular training programs for all our receptionists and dispensing assistants and give every encouragement to them to improve their level of knowledge and expertise.
