General information

May we take this opportunity to first introduce ourselves, myself (Rebecca) and my partner Phil are the proud owners of The Moorhead Bed and Breakfast. Years of searching for the perfect location to start our B&B, who knew, it was right on our doorstep. After living in the area for over 10 years we have fallen in love with this angelic region of North Shropshire.

Let me tell you a bit more about myself, I have been working in the hospitality industry for over 16 years, gaining a vast experience in a supermarket, luxury hotels and restaurants! Applying this knowledge to The Moorhead, we feel this offers you as the guest an unrivalled bed and breakfast experience!

Since 2001, Phil has been competing as a golf professional on the mini tours, nationally and internationally, he has also fallen in love with the beauty of The Moorhead. And he makes a yummy breakfast!!!

Us as a team, coupled with the charm and seclusion of the property, aim to offer you the ideal choice for your countryside getaway.

We have 3 large guest rooms at The Moorhead to ensure you have a relaxing stay & comfortable nights’ rest. All rooms are situated on the first floor of the house and have modern ensuite showerooms. Breakfast is included in all room rates and is served 7am until 9am in the guests dining room which has a choice of 3 tables for guests to dine at. And on cold mornings the roaring log fire will greet you. Where possible we serve fresh eggs from our hens. Guests may also use the lounge which has a TV, open fire and plenty of board games to keep everyone occupied. We are situated at the end of a ong sweeping drive which is secured with electric gates. We have secure parking available for all guests and motorcycles can be parked and secured in our garage/carport. We are a pet friendly residence although pets are not allowed inside the house, we do have outside accommodation to suit your pets needs. (Please call prior to your stay to ensure we can prepare your pets accommodation.)
