General information

Moviola have been bringing Hollywood to local communities in the counties of Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon for more than 14 years. We screen major release and independent films in local village halls and community centres that people living in more remote areas might otherwise have to wait to see on the television - or miss out on completely.

We’re a charity, so we try to keep costs down and offer a unique cinema experience. Because we like to make sure each show is a community event, you’ll find it’s a little bit different to what you might get in a city multiplex, and unlike more conventional cinemas, you won't be fighting to hear the movie over the sound of other people's chat or mobile ringtones.
