NPS Shoes Factory Shop and Factory Tour

General information

Northampton Productive Society (Shoes) Ltd has been making footwear in the village of Wollaston, England, since 1881.
At NPS (much less of a mouthful), all our shoes and boots are handmade from start to finish in the same factory. Our craftsmen work with fashion designers bringing their ideas and designs to a reality. This means we get to work with a bunch of cool people and be part of the creative process and can puff our chests with pride when we see their shoes on a catwalk or in a magazine.
Some of our customers include John Lewis, Jack Wills, ASOS, John Skelton and J.W Anderson. From ladies brogues to electric blue suede brothel creepers, you name it, we’ve made it.

NPS also manufacture their own brand, ‘Solovair’ with its renowned heat-sealed sole (www.solovair.co.uk) which can be completely customisable: from Union Jack patterned leather to rainbow stitching.
