General information
I'm passionate about all animals, from world to local Cheshire wildlife and having worked with dogs for several years they hold a special place in my heart. Using pastel and carbon, my work is simply about capturing the wonderful character and beautiful details of each animal. I have produced commissioned portraits since gaining an honours degree in art with art history at Aberystwyth University in 1996. I enjoy completing the whole picture-making process myself, from taking reference photos to making each portrait's bespoke frame.
