Joanna Smith-Ryland is Passionate about Patchwork.

The unique cathedral window patchwork, which uses folded layers of material giving a three-dimensional effect creating little windows are beautifully made using vibrant colours and intricate details within three collections - Big Cat, Jewel and Garden.

Each cathedral window creates a stunning view of big cat prints, real semi-precious jewels of green jade, red quartz and Lapis Lazuli, and hand embroidered flowers and butterflies.

These collections tell a story of life around us and have been inspired from Joanna’s Mothers beautifully created gardens at Sherbourne Park, the Jewel collection highlights the deep richness of life;the vibrant colours reflect the sun the sea and the beauty of nature. The Big Cat Collection was inspired by a seemingly endless love of animal prints and the exotic power they represent.

The range has been individually handcrafted and finished to Joanna’s specific designs from a combination of silks and printed 100% cotton fabrics. These are also available to purchase by the metre for you to create your very own complementary soft furnishings.
