COMPANY OVERVIEW
The Cloth Shop started February 1989 in the Village Gallery, Culcheth, Warrington. We moved to larger premises in 1998 to the CPS Centre, Culcheth, where we are now, and expanded in 2003.
The CPS Centre is a thriving collection of independently owned shops, catering to people in the Cheshire area.
The Cloth Shop's huge range of haberdashery, and our extensive selection of buttons & ribbons are amongst the largest range anywhere.
Our 100% cotton fabrics are suitable for both Quilters and Dressmakers, with a large variety of designs to choose from and an excellent range of plain colours to co-ordinate.
For Dressmakers we complement our fabrics with patterns by Vogue, Butterick, Simplicity and New Look, and have a fabrics ranging from Prada satin backed crepe, crepe-de-chine, cotton poplin, poly-cottons, organza, jersey, wool, oriental jaquards & novelty fabrics. We always stock basic items – wadding, linings, curtain lining, calico etc.
Some of our fabrics are limited editions, 'when they are gone...they are gone', and not repeated. New and exciting fabrics are regularly arriving – keeping in touch, calling into the shop is essential to keep up to date.

We have always catered for Needle crafters with a range of Aida & Evenweave Embroidery fabrics on the roll. We stock both Anchor & DMC silks, speciality threads by Kreinik and Treasure Braide, and Mill Hill Beads & Treasures. We also have a limited stock of the fabulous and collectable 'Lavender & Lace' & 'Miribilia' cross-stitch charts.

In recent years we have introduced card crafting by popular demand. We even have card making classes every month! We have tools, equipment card & embellishments as well as 'Promarker' pens, and have developed our own range of Digital prints for the card crafter to colour in. The finished cards are also for sale, all hand made and unique.

We have always stocked British made 'Robin' double-knitting wool, and have expanded our range of colours in the 100gram balls.

For a small shop we have a miriad of wonderful items, and we are often described as 'an Aladdin's cave'.
