This historic Tyneside shipyard is being restored to its former glory and brought back to life as a brand new riverside neighbourhood.
Centred around three dock basins, which will form the heart of a lively community, you’ll find contemporary family homes, thoughtfully designed public spaces and plenty of places to eat, drink and play.
What’s more, the long term transformation of Smith’s Dock will open up new connections along the river between Fish Quay and Royal Quays and from the town centre down to the waterfront.
