General information

We can provide Nursery Education and Childcare -

We offer paid childcare for children from the age of two. Free Early Education places are available for those families who meet the criteria. Children aged 3-4 can access 15 Hours Nursery Education free of charge.
Parents may choose to pay for additional hours of childcare to extend their half-day nursery education session.

Nursery Education sessions run term time only:
8.45 – 11.45 morning session
12.30 – 3.30 afternoon session

Paid childcare is available from 8.00 – 6.00, Monday to Friday for 50 weeks of the year. We try to be as flexible as possible to meet your childcare needs.

We believe that:
• Children learn best through first hand experiences.
• Children learn best through play.
• Children are competent learners – they develop knowledge and understanding by interpreting their own experiences of the world around them.

This means that:
• We offer a rich environment that stimulates and encourages spontaneous play.
• We value children’s play by observing it, joining in, talking about it, recording it, sharing it and evaluating it.
• We try to find out as much as we can about ways of learning and follow children's interests so that we can support and extend their learning.
• We recognise that we are learners too. We follow a programme of professional development which helps us to keep up to date with research and good practice in early years education.
