The Pinetree Business Centre, based in Birtley, Gateshead, offers affordable managed office suites for small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) in North East England and in recent years has invested £36k into refurbishing and improving the building with new carpets and refurbished office space so that tenants work in a clean, comfortable and well managed environment.

The space is ideal for small business start up and growing companies.

Komatsu acquired its current site in 1985 and as the Pinetree Centre building was not required for its manufacturing operation it was decided to utilise the building to support charitable objectives and the local community. Komatsu has continue to support the business centre and its objectives up to the current day.

The Centre is currently home to 17 trading businesses including Cosgrove Costing, Livingstone House Construction, Peter Campbell Sales, PG Anderson, Cambridge Law, Oricle Training, Community Accounting, Green Gem Financial, Faithorn Farrell Timms, Contrac Computers, Business Improvement, Property Maintenance Care, Scene Enterprises CIC, Cool Solutions, MTelecoms, MB Business Services and Kare Plus Durham, as well as 14 Virtual instant offices.

The offices are spacious, furnished and ideal for new business start up as well as established and growing businesses, great for business opportunities including retail, distribution, production, sales, telemarketing, training, business services and community / charitable work.

The centre also has a conference room, meeting room and one to one coaching room available for hire whenever you need them with discounted rates for tenants as well as hot desk facilities and virtual office services.
