Plawsworth and Kimblesworth Community Association is a local village hall owned by the Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation (CISWO) and held in trust by Durham County Council. It is run by a management committee of mostly local volunteers and also one paid caretaker.
The building offers:
* three meeting rooms
* a canteen
* two kitchens
* a 250 seat hall with a stage and sprung dance floor.
* Off-street parking is available as is disabled access to the rear of the building.
Various groups meet regularly in the building (see left), but parts of the building are available to hire at most times, particularly during the day. Our prices are very competitive and preferential rates are available to local users and non profit-making bodies.
